WHAT MAKES WOODWICK SO SPECIAL?
Popular in the U.S, they are made from a blend of sustainable soy wax which creates a long, slow and clean burn. The most special part is the organic wooden wick, which creates the soothing sound of a crackling log fire. #metime
TIPS TO THE PEREFECT WOODWICK BURN
- Light the wick all the way across, not just on one end. This helps the candle to burn evenly.
- Keep the wick trimmed. If the candle begins to smoke, or if the flame height is greater than 4 cm, gently blow out the candle, allow the wick and wax to cool, and trim the wick by gently running your finger across the top of it. Remove all wick trimmings before relighting.
- Keep the candle away from drafts, such as ceiling fans, air conditioners or breezes.
PREVENT A BAD BURN
If you don’t burn your WoodWick candle long enough for the melted wax to reach the sides of the glass jar it will create a hole in the middle of the candle. Always burn your candle for at least 2 or 3 hours, this will ensure that the melted wax pool has reached the sides of the glass jar optimising your burn time.
For these and the largest selection of candles in the CBD, you can't go past the Candle Cottage, located on the ground floor of Adelaide Central Plaza, they make the perfect gift every time!
