Our location is steeped in South Australia tradition with most South Aussies knowing about John Martin in connection with retail history in Adelaide. 

During the years that the John Martin & Co store, colloquially known as John Martin’s or simply Johnnies, existed in Adelaide, it became Adelaide’s most famous store through the annual staging of the John Martin’s Christmas Pageant and for its equally famous Magic Cave.  Generations of Adelaideans still have wonderful memories of their childhood growing up with these two iconic institutions. 

Precision Group purchased Adelaide Central Plaza in 1999 and completed the development in August 2000. The six-level project was the biggest retail development in the Adelaide CBD in a decade. 

Works Completed

Precision Group has continued to invest in Adelaide Central Plaza. Upgrades to the canopies on Rundle Mall and North Terrace have not only modernised the façade of the building, but have attracted the iconic international and Australian retailers. More recent upgrades include new flooring, glazing, and the installation of larger entrance doors and signage to the North Terrace entrance.
